Customer Accounts Coordinator
Looking for an opportunity to develop your finance skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment?
We're looking for a proactive and confident Customer Accounts Coordinator to join our collaborative Finance team at Omniplex Learning!
Who are we?
At Omniplex Learning, our mission is simple - to enable organisations to reach their full potential through exceptional digital learning, all in one place.
As we continue to strengthen our Accounts Receivable function, we're looking for someone who enjoys speaking with people, takes ownership of their work, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to develop valuable business, customer service, and finance skills. While experience is always welcome, we're more interested in your attitude, energy, confidence, and willingness to learn.
What will you do?
As our Customer Accounts Coordinator, you'll play an important role in helping us maintain strong customer relationships and ensure invoices are paid on time.
You will:
Take ownership of following up overdue invoices, proactively contacting customers by phone and email to secure payment and resolve queries
Work through a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring actions are completed promptly and records remain up to date
Build positive relationships with customers while confidently handling payment conversations
Collaborate with Sales and other internal teams to resolve queries and remove barriers to payment
Support wider Finance team administration and assist with ad-hoc tasks when required
Provide finance support across sales ledger processing, including invoicing and account
Reconciliations, as well as resolving customer queries through the Finance inbox
Maintain accurate records and help keep our finance processes organised and efficient
Look for opportunities to improve ways of working and take initiative when issues arise
Who are we looking for?
We're not necessarily looking for someone with credit control experience. We're looking for someone who is proactive, confident, and motivated to achieve results.
This role could suit someone from a customer service, administration, retail, hospitality, contact centre, sales support, or graduate background who enjoys communicating with people and taking responsibility for their work.
You'll be successful if you have:
Confidence on the phone and are comfortable speaking with customers throughout the day
A proactive mindset - you're the type of person who takes action rather than waiting to be asked
Energy and enthusiasm - you enjoy staying busy and bringing a positive attitude to your work
Persistence and resilience - you're comfortable following up and seeing tasks through to completion
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a range of people
A positive, can-do approach and desire to make an impact from day one
What's in it for you?
A competitive salary that reflects your experience and potential
A flexible hybrid working model, with 3 days a week based in our fun and collaborative office
25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and an extra day for your birthday
An inclusive Private Medical Insurance plan, as well as access to mental health and wellbeing support
Group Life Insurance – providing security and peace of mind for you and your loved ones
Enhanced family policies
Regular social events and activities
