We’re looking for a confident and highly organised Purchase Ledger Assistant to take full ownership of our Purchase Ledger function within a dynamic and fast-paced Finance team.

As our Purchase Ledger Assistant, you’ll be the go-to person for all things AP, managing the entire purchase ledger process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong supplier relationships.
What will you do?
As Purchase Ledger assistant, you will:
Own the full accounts payable process – from invoice receipt to payment
Ensure all invoices and expenses are correctly coded, approved, and processed promptly
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies quickly and professionally
Maintain supplier accounts and take responsibility for onboarding new suppliers
Manage the payables inbox and handle supplier queries with confidence
Support month-end processes and provide accurate reporting
Identify and troubleshoot issues, recommending improvements where needed
Who are we looking for?
You’re a confident, proactive professional who thrives on responsibility and takes pride in running a process smoothly. You will have:
Proven experience managing a purchase ledger or or an AP function
A deep understanding of a full P2P process
Ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve queries independently
Excellent relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal teams
Confidence using accounting software
A detail-driven, organised approach with a focus on accuracy and deadlines
