Financial Accountant

We’re looking for a Financial Accountant to play a key role in our Finance team, delivering accurate reporting and insights that support decision-making across the business. The Finance team is at the heart of our operations, ensuring financial processes run smoothly, compliantly, and with clarity for colleagues and stakeholders alike.
About You

- Newly qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent), ideally trained in practice
- Strong technical grounding with sound knowledge of accounting standards and financial controls
- Confident with Excel and financial systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
- Exposure to VAT, PAYE and tax compliance advantageous
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a problem-solving mindset
- Clear communicator, able to present financial insights to senior stakeholders
- Adaptable and hands-on, with a collaborative approach across varied tasks
- Team player with a growth mindset and a proactive attitude
About The Role
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support decision-making across the business. Working within a small and agile team, you’ll gain exposure across all aspects of finance, making this an ideal opportunity to build broad industry experience.
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and prepayments
- Own and reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including fixed assets
- Assist with VAT returns, PAYE compliance, and corporation tax submissions
- Provide analysis and support to the Finance Manager, Head of Finance, and wider team
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including cash forecasting
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure statutory compliance
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, process improvements, and business initiatives
- Provide cover across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and FP&A when needed
