We're seeking a dedicated and ambitious Finance Manager to join us and play an integral role in the Finance department, overseeing all financial aspects of our operations. We're looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of working in a PE backed business, whose ambitions align with ours and be pivotal in contributing to our ongoing growth and success.  Â

About You
You are a Chartered Accountant, with an audit background looking for that next step in your career to manage a small team and have key finance responsibilities such as month end reporting a small team and have overall responsibility for  be responsible for managing a Finance function. This role requires strong technical accounting skills and an understanding of UK tax regulations.Â
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for attention to detail
- An ability to develop strong relationships internal teams as well as external advisors, auditors, and banks
- Proactive and agile approach, with a focus on process and controls
- A friendly, supportive, and confident approach
- Proficiency in accounting software and and Advanced Excel skills

About The Role
As our Finance Manager, you will be at the core of our financial operations, overseeing all financial aspects of Omniplex Learning and ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee the monthly management accounts process, managing the month end timetable, providing robust reconciliations and insightful reporting
- Manage the year-end process from ensuring our financial statements are prepared in accordance with FRS 102 to providing data and explanations to auditors
- Manage corporate tax compliance processes and reporting, working closely with our tax advisors
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models, leading the annual budget process
- Proactively manage cash flow and working capital
- Implement and maintain effective internal financial controls
- Drive process improvement initiatives within the finance function
- Manage and develop the transactional finance team, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth
